Plumpton Children’s Centre & Neighbourhood House
We’re thrilled to report the Plumpton Children’s Centre & Neighbourhood House has progressed almost to completion. You can see the constructed building at 19 Pear Parade, on the north-eastern corner of the Westwood Walk precinct.
The new centre will offer 3- and 4-year-old kinder plus maternal and child health and family services, providing local families with access to parenting support programs, playgroups, breastfeeding support, immunisations and a range of community programs and activities.
With spaces for 132 children, the new kinder will provide much-needed early learning opportunities for families in the area. Parents can also enjoy peace of mind knowing essential family services are right at their doorstep.

Plumpton Primary School (interim name)
The future Plumpton Primary School, located at 22 Pear Parade, is well under construction, and is expected to open in Term 1, 2026. A principal has now been appointed: Paris Spencer, who has been principal of Riverwalk Primary School and is a motivated and passionate school leader.
The school will include two learning neighbourhoods, an administration and library building, outdoor hard courts, a community hub with indoor multi-use court, canteen and arts/music spaces, and a sports field.
Local families can look forward to the new state-of-the-art facilities providing an engaging and innovative learning environment for their children, with the added bonus of the school being just a short walk, cycle or drive away from all Westwood residents!
