The Melbourne Christmas Tree Farm is located in Plumpton, just over a ten-minute drive from Westwood. It’s been family owned for 35 years and they pride themselves on their real premium Christmas trees.
From Thursday November 24 you can visit the plantation any day of the week, and choose and cut down your very own tree! (hand saws are available on site).
If you prefer an easier method, you can also order it online and have it delivered. The farm is pet friendly, but remember to bring a leash.
The farm will also hold a Christmas market for the four weekends prior to Christmas, which is a great day out for families, even those that don’t celebrate Christmas.
Along with a variety of local stallholders to shop from, there will also be kids’ activities such as face painting, a petting zoo and rides.
So get into the festive spirit and bring the family down one weekend!
