Builder rubbish and refuse needs to be properly contained by each home builder and property owner (as per the Westwood Design Guidelines), including having a secure rubbish cage and bin.
Council have recently advised that their enforcement officers will be conducting a blitz at Westwood to ensure compliance. Infringements can result in fines and other punishments.
We encourage anyone observing illegal dumping, littering, graffiti, vandalism or overgrown lots to report the matter through the Snap Send Solve app (Â website or Instagram ), contact Council on 03 9747 7200, or complete the online form here.
Any areas yet to be handed over to Council have been reviewed and will be addressed on a fortnightly basis (to be reviewed quarterly).
