Why are people choosing townhomes for their next purchase?
Initially when we started building townhomes, we found our buyers were mostly investors looking for a low-maintenance design or first home buyers looking for an affordable way to enter the property market. In recent times, however, we have seen greater diversity in our buyers.
With a rise in build prices and an increase in interest rates, we have noticed a growing trend of second home buyers purchasing a townhome as their family home.

Buyers like the comfort and convenience of buying a townhome that is ready to move into, with a price that is fixed. They don’t have to budget for items like landscaping, fencing and driveways as these are all included in the price.

Sienna Homes Townhomes have all of the features of a large family home, on a smaller block. Our townhomes offer up to 4 bedrooms, two-car garages along with open plan living zones. They also include features like alfrescoes, study nooks, powder rooms and lots of storage.
Townhomes also have reduced setbacks, allowing us to design homes that use more of the land they are built on compared to traditional homes.

Our townhomes are a sustainable alternative to traditional housing, with each home designed to maximise light and passive heating and cooling. Every home achieves a minimum 6-star energy rating and includes features like double glazed windows and water-saving tapware.
The carbon created in the construction of our townhomes is offset through the planting of bio-diverse forests in Australia and New Zealand and we recycle 95% of our building waste, so buyers can feel proud of purchasing a more sustainable home.

The process of purchasing a townhome is quite streamlined. The external elements of the home are predesigned, and buyers select from our curated Colour Boards for their internal palettes.

Without a doubt it is our linen scheme – this is a really nice light and sophisticated palette, which goes well with almost any furnishing selection.
